Why Leicester International Business School

LIBS is quite different from independent pathway colleges as we are based on Leicester Montessori College.  LIBS registered students will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of facilities available on campus.  Our friendly and dedicated LIBS support team, who are located on campus, will be on hand to help students to settle into their new surroundings. 

NCC International Diploma in Business

The NCC International Diploma in Business is a full-time academic programme delivered to a high standard by LIBS. 

The NCC International Diploma Programme in Business and Management delivered at Leicester Montessori College (LMC) is flexible and dynamic, and aims to provide the most advanced education and excellent personal care support to students from all over the world so as to assure them to progress onto the relevant degree courses. Our students can benefit from the range of college facilities. On successful completion of the programme, students will gain entry to the second year of one of the following undergraduate degrees at De Montfort University:

Entry Requirements onto the NCC International Diploma in Business

On entry a student must have at least ONE of the following:

• Successful graduates of the NCC Education International Foundation Year programme;
• Students who have local or international qualification which is deemed to be a similar level to the NCC Education International Foundation Year programme. These shall be agreed in advance with NCC Education;
• Students with at least one 'A' level pass or equivalent or an appropriate School Leaver's certificate;
• Vocational experience which is deemed suitable by NCC Education.

English Language entry requirement:

IELTS 5.0 or equivalent for three terms
IELTS 5.5 or equivalent for two terms (an extra term may be required)

Progression Routes

Progression opportunities onto the second year of the joint undergraduate programme at De Montfort University Business School are available to successful graduates of the NCC International Diploma in Business programme.

Joint Degree Programmes available at De Montfort University Business School:

BA (Hons) Business and Management

Students are encouraged to take pre-sessional English Language courses available at the University before they start their programme of study with De Montfort University Business School. 

Accommodation

Students can choose to stay in carefully selected homestay accommodation or private accommodation organised by LIBS.
