All students follow a balanced curriculum, covering the National Curriculum Core and Foundation subjects, Religious Studies, French and Spanish. The school encompasses a policy where the students undertake the SATS and GCSE course work at an average of three years in advance of the National average, with over 90% of students aiming to undertake GCSE examinations in Mathematics,

English and Science, between the ages of twelve and fifteen.
The National Curriculum Programmes of Study are covered and appropriate levels attained. One of the fundamental principles of the Grammar school is to provide the students with an advanced learning environment, which is aided by a policy of having a small class-to-staff ratio.
Expert tuition is given by qualified tutors, in all areas of the curriculum.
It is a requirement of the School that all pupils wear the proper uniform.
